TATSUO KOBAYASHI

Born in Kyoto, 1985.
In 2007, Kobayashi made “The Boy and the Town” which won the Grand Prix at the Kyoto International Student Film Festival. In 2015, he directed the feature-length historical drama “Gassoh” (2015), which won the Kyoto City Art Newcomer Award.
He also directed the drama “Showa Genroku Rakugo Shinju” (2018). He also wrote the screenplays for “Pure Japanese” (2009/Dir. Matsunaga Daishi) and “Revolver Lily” (2011/Dir.Yukisada Isao).
